We'll attempt to repair this unit, and perform a thorough cosmetic restoration to the plastic housing. At 9:33 of the video, I didn't set the instrument to ohms or continuity. when I was probing the area and I found the break. I didn't need to, as I could tell by the behavior on the display that something was amiss. I just know all of the strange quirks of this particular multimeter.
