The M139 shape Maserati Quattroporte is a tantalising prospect for a truly affordable exotic car on the used market - especially if you are looking for one with far more space, seats and practicality than your average GT car. Not to mention a truly wonderful blend of sound and performance thanks to their Ferrari-shared F136 series engines. At the same time however, the vast majority of prospective buyers are seemingly terrified at the thought of Maserati ownership due to their reputation when it comes to build quality and reliability, some of which is vastly blown out of proportion, and parts of which have seeds of truth.
