In a statement released on Friday (July 24), the IRGC claimed that US military personnel have left several of their bases in the Middle East. According to the IRGC, US officers and troops are now moving to buildings in urban areas. The move is claimed to be to direct military operations and provide cover from attacks. The IRGC claims these buildings are used as secret accommodations for US personnel and were chosen to make them less vulnerable to attack. Therefore, the IRGC is urging citizens in countries hosting US troops to increase their vigilance. Civilians are urged to immediately stay at least 500 meters away from buildings suspected of being used as residences or operations centers for US military personnel. The IRGC said the warning was issued to prevent civilians from being near locations claimed to be used by US personnel. In addition to alleging troop relocations, the IRGC also accused the US of attacking various civilian infrastructure in Iranian territory. The IRGC stated that the targets included bridges, fishing piers, ships, vehicles, and even railway lines. This accusation once again demonstrates the intense narrative war brewing amidst the military confrontation between the two countries. To date, the US government has not issued an official response to the IRGC's claims regarding the relocation of its military personnel.
