To put it mildly, Layne Staley is the best singer in the world. I think this song's performance really showcases his voice; it's one of the most brutal grunge songs ever. I've spent a long time (and continue to) studying the technique of Layne and Chris Cornell (they're literally bros, both in terms of technique and overall).
