The battery's maximum drain occurs during starting, acceleration, and hill climbs. So, here are our recommendations: 1. First, select the voltage display mode on your trip computer if you don't have a separate voltmeter. This is done so you can see the voltage. 2. Set the trip computer's settings to smooth start; this will prevent sudden current surges and extreme voltage drops. 3. Start the scooter by pushing off with your foot, and slowly squeeze the trigger to avoid a more rapid voltage drop. 4. Turn off the headlights and parking lights, especially if you have a powerful headlight. This will definitely increase the range slightly. 5. Ride in first gear. Yes, the speed is significantly lower, but due to its energy-efficient use, the scooter will increase its range by several kilometers. 6. Try to avoid braking and accelerating. Any braking causes a restart, and starting is when the battery experiences the greatest energy consumption. 7. Avoid hills. If the battery is on its last legs, push the scooter up the hill yourself. This way, it won't shut off on a climb under heavy loads, and you'll be able to travel for several more kilometers on flat roads. 8. Lastly, use regenerative braking on steep descents; a small battery boost certainly won't hurt. With these simple steps and tips, you won't be left alone with a dead scooter at an inopportune moment.
