Suzuki 2.5hp install to Hobie AI
I have installed a 2.5hp Suzuki to my AI and the findings are as follows Fuel consumption approx 1 litre per 50mins or 8-10klm per litre depending on weather and sea conditions. Good for no or low wind conditions and fishing Good for upwind, but leaves you with the feeling you are in a dingy with a motor. So basically if the wind is going to blow all day leave the motor at home. If the wind prediction if that it will drop off or become lite, a motor beats peddling. If there is no wind and the fish are biting there is nothing to stop you catching a few. over all I like it and plan to upgrade to a TI later in 2017 and I'll definitely have a motor on it. I forgot to demonstrate a few things I spoke about but will produce another short clip showing these when I have the final version completed
