Every experienced echocardiographer can eyeball systolic left ventricular function. However for diastolic dysfunction this approach is not possible. Using our 5 simple rules, everyone of you will be able to assess diastolic function like a pro. Echocardiography can help us determine diastolic function better than any other method. At the end of this video, Tommy will give us some hints on how to assess diastolic function in a demo patient.
