For the manufacture of this device, I used a metal corner 25x25 mm. with a wall thickness of 4 mm. The original length of the corner was 36 cm. I decided to drill the holes first, and only then cut off the excess. In order for the upper parts of the holes to be at the same level, I made markings along the entire length of the corner at a distance of 4 mm. from its edge. So that this device can be secured with clamps, I made the first and last hole at a distance of 25 mm. from the edge of the corner. In this case, the clamp will not interfere with the cable pulling in the extreme holes. I drilled the holes starting from a diameter of 1.5 mm. Each subsequent hole increases by 0.5 (half) millimeter. From 10 mm. the pitch can be increased by 1 - 2 mm. I drilled the largest hole with a diameter of 16 mm. The edges of the holes are sharp. To remove it, you can use a larger diameter drill or file. After this treatment, the wire is much easier to pull through the hole. The guide for the knife blade must be made towards the center of the hole. Make a mark first, and then, without haste, start sawing, periodically checking how smoothly you get it. Inspect each hole carefully and file the sharp edges with a round file. Now remove the rest of the corner, leaving 25 mm from the edge of the last hole. For various fastening of the device, I decided to make holes with a diameter of 8.5 mm along the edges of the corner, so that it was possible to fasten it with bolts. The wire and cable should not fit snugly into the hole. Choose a diameter such that it will be easy for you to pull the wire through. The knife blade must not protrude beyond the hole. With the fingers of the hand holding the knife, rest against the corner and begin to pull the wire. In order to cut through the insulation of the copper wire, a slight force on the knife is enough.
