Pocket Dweller, Holsinger's Fly Shop, Episode 596

This week I decided to share a streamer pattern with you all. I was scrolling through Facebook and was reading replies to a post and someone suggested to the guy that he try the Pocket Dweller streamer. I had never heard of the pattern so I looked it up and really liked what I saw. I had to give it a try. I fish another pattern that is similar to this one regularly, so I know this one will work. The reason I like this one though is that it is tied on a jig hook making it ride hook point up. This is one pattern I would suggest if you are looking to add a new streamer pattern to your tying arsenal. Definitely change the colors of the materials to match the baitfish in your area. Also try to keep this pattern small. It's always nice to have some smaller patterns in the box. If I'm not getting hits the first thing I do is downsize and that usually produces a fish.
