Mid Norfolk Railway..... The Hidden Bit!!

The MNR long term ambition is to extend through to Fakenham, this video gives a rare look at the first stage between Dereham and Worthing Crossing just south of North Elmham where it is hoped to build a new station (the original like many on this line is in private ownership). The line is some five miles long and restricted to 15mph as well as only 12 operating days per year at the moment (As Per ORR regs). The Guard of this propelled single car DMU kindly allowed me to place my camera in cab to record the return journey to Dereham. It has been edited to eliminate conversation and radio chat as well as waiting time at crossing and as captioned is produced at double speed ........... Enjoy the ride!!
