(16) he was known for also his mafia ties. which may or may not be true. people have connected him to the mafia. (not being apart of it but knowing mafia bosses) unlike Bing Crosby (who was known to be chill, and calm) frank was known as being more intense and crazy. not always a bad thing but let's just say you wouldn't want to get on his bad side. he was leader in the rat pack. which had great artists such as dean martin, Sammy davis jr. and others. dean and frank were very close friends. and he treated dean with love and respect. in his younger days (1940s) ladies adored him. he was maybe even more loved then bing was at that time. cos his good looks and awesome voice. frank was known for his powerful singing voice. he could make you feel every word he sang. which his life was not a easy one which would have helped a lot in his music. cos if you don't feel the words there is no way you can make others feel it. and frank (from the looks of it) only sang songs he could feel a connection to. which made his music even more powerful. fun facts: 1: just like Bing, frank was a golfer. he would play golf and even played at famous golf courses around the globe. 2: his nickname "ole blue eyes" came cos of his dashing blue eyes. becoming apart of his character. 3: he once told trump to go "fuk himself" 4: him and willie nelson were friends. and willie nelson even made 2 albums entitled "my way" and "that's life" in honour of his good friend. (just another reason to also love willie nelson) 5: the song entitled "Nancy with the laughing face" When they sang it as "Nancy... with the laughing face" at little Nancy Sinatra's birthday party, Frank broke down and cried thinking that it was written specially for his daughter. (copy and pasted so i don't get it wrong) frank Sinatra is and was the best in jazz. next to bing Crosby. they both did all they could with what they had. God bless both of them. #franksinatra #jazzmusic #jazz #masterpiece #music #photos #1940smusic #1950smusic #bigbandmusic #popmusic
