This video teaches advanced Excel formatting from the consultant perspective. As a practising consultant creating and curating spreadsheets daily, I've been on something of an Excel formatting journey. I found early in my career I was too much of a perfectionist. I would fill a spreadsheet with the perfect bespoke colours and formats for a specific client, then come back the next day, open the file and ask myself 'What was I thinking?' This drove me mad. So, I decided to change the way I was thinking. I simplified my approach and focused on the 20% of effort that would give 80% of value, every time. The 5Cs Excel advanced formatting framework was born. For me, the framework does more than just create beautiful spreadsheets quickly, it's driven a whole portfolio of work that's distinctive and makes people say 'Did Chris do this?'
