Inside the European Defense Tech Hackathon Brussels | March 2026
For our first-ever European Defense Tech Hackathon in Brussels, we tried something new: Following two teams — from first idea to final pitch. For 48 hours, they worked under pressure to turn rough concepts into real prototypes. One team focused on countering disinformation. The other on enabling navigation in GNSS-denied environments. You see the messy middle — the uncertainty, the pivots, the trade-offs — and what it actually takes to build something that works in a constrained timeframe. One of the teams went on to win 2nd place. Huge thanks to babypro (https://babypro.art) for capturing this hackathon as it really feels — not as a promo clip, but as a raw, behind-the-scenes story.
