iPod Classic not recognised in Windows, Mac OSX or any iTunes [Please help me!]

It has been fine and dandy but about 3 weeks ago it suddenly stopped. I connected it to my laptop and itunes said that it needs to be restored. I tried that but it came up with an error saying that iTunes could not restore it and that I needed to reformat the disk. I tried that with Disk Utility but it failed. Here is my attempt with Windows...but as you can see, I didn't have any luck!
