SPIEL 2025 Messe Vorschau - Auf diese Brettspiel Neuheiten freue ich mich besonders

Over 50 exciting board games have already landed on my list for SPIEL 2025, even though I initially thought there might not be that much for me this year. The motto, as last year, is: Keep an open mind and try games that might not have caught my eye at first glance. As always, board game adaptations of video games are interesting, especially this year's Terraria board game, Dead Cells, Valheim the Boardgame, and Hell Legends, a board game strongly reminiscent of a Diablo board game. My favorite board games are often deck-building games, so we find several examples on this year's list, such as Boss Fighters QR, Blood, Black Rose Wars Revised, and Everdell Silverfrost. And what about Riftbound, the new TCG card game from Riot Games set in the League of Legends universe? I've searched everywhere, but unfortunately couldn't find any information on whether Riftbound will be at the fair – if you know anything more, please let me know! However, there was a recent surprise announcement about Pauper's Ladder, the spiritual successor to Talisman and Runebound, which we can now look forward to soon in German.
