Flandern-Route - Tag 5
It was clear from the start: today we'd be improvising. Instead of dry conditions, we had continuous rain, without a break. So we adjusted our original route and opted for a shorter one. Despite the rain, we naturally got on our bikes. The roads were wet, the wind unpleasant, and longer breaks were out of the question. It was one of those days where you just keep pedaling, zip up your rain jacket, and rack up the kilometers. Not the most spectacular leg of the tour, but days like these are all part of a cycling trip. You can't change the weather, but you can make the best of it.
