[ USA Station ] Amtrak California Zephyr break stop station, Reno Nevada

Visited Amtrak Reno Nevada Station (September 1, 2018) The Reno Transportation Rail Access Corridor (ReTRAC) was undertaken to solve noise pollution and traffic congestion by lowering the Union Pacific mainline below grade (Reno Trench Project). The construction of the trench was completed on November 18, 2005. Amtrak officially moved into the renovated former Southern Pacific station on January 4, 2006. #USARailGuide #Amtrak
