BMW E46 Race Car Build: M54B30 Cylinder Head Refresh

The M54B30 cylinder head gets a checkup and refresh- mostly to make sure it'll hold up for the season. This was my first proper cylinder head job, and I learned a couple things along the way: -Be careful with valve guides, they can be bent with too much force -If it's already working, it probably doesn't need fixing -Valve lapping isn't very effective, and is very time consuming Yes, I could have gone to a machine shop, but this would have been out of my budget for this season- plus, it just needs to last for the summer. When I run more events and discover what upgrades are worth it, I can plan out upgraded valves, springs, lifters, and cams. Nonetheless, this whole process was a valuable learning experience, and it's probably for the better I didn't have thousands of dollars of new parts on the line.
