98462's Last Journey
DISCLAIMER: The event occured in this video is entirely fictional and fan-made, not canon to the official lore of The Railway Series owned by Wilbert Awdry. In 1924, Raven class S3 (later classified as B16) no. 98462 was booked to take a stopping mail train bound for Tidmouth, as the train approaching a station ahead, the driver tried to slow the engine down but it instead gather more speed, and the driver tried to stop it but no avail, causing the engine to running at high speed and crashes through the wall at Tidmouth. The result of this accident costs the life of the driver and the fireman of no. 98462 and the engine is later sent away by the Fat Director. Forgotten credits: The whistle sound that is used on no. 98462 is taken from an LNER Q6, it is recorded by PreservedRailways. And at the scene were 98462 backing down to the mail train, the sound effects are taken from Train of Events (1949) the movie is currently owned by StudioCanal.
