Land Rover Discovery 4 LR4 failed engine investigation & body on replacement. 3.0 SDV6 Crank failure

Back in October of 2024 one of our three Land Rover Discovery 4 3.0l SDV6 tow vehicles suffered low oil pressure on startup, a few weeks went by with no indications of terminal engine failure found and a new oil pump fitted and all seemed well..... However after another 40ish miles things took a turn for the worse.
