This focuses on energy recovery with innovations in which the expertise from Formula 1 comes into play. With the E-TECH Plug-in Hybrid, Renault engineers developed an advanced, practical and exclusive hybrid drive for which the company has filed over 150 patents. The motorization combines elements that were conceived within the alliance. This includes the new generation of the 1.6 liter petrol engine, which has been specifically adapted for this application.
