Why Is This 2010 Monaco Diplomat So Special?

Today I'm back at one of my long time dealer friends, Integrity RV, in Mesa, AZ. They asked if I could do an inspection on this sold 2010 Monaco Diplomat. To my surprise, when I was discussing it with them in the office they pointed to this incredibly clean and beautiful full-body paint job which I had thought was a late model Monaco Dynasty. Even more shocking to me was that it was a 2010 Monaco on a Roadmaster chassis. By this point in the Monaco RV history, Monaco had been purchased by Navistar, and they were beginning to build RVs on their Maxx Force chassis with their own engine designs. In previous videos, I have recommended staying away from these years of Monaco as the Navistar years were not the best for engines and electronics and 2009-2010 Roadmasters had a multiplex chassis system that has been problematic with no support. However, since this is more of an entry level diesel pusher on a Roadmaster chassis, this 2010 Diplomat didn't have any of the issues that I warned about so I wanted to share this RARE and well maintained unicorn RV.
