Kronplatz, Südtirol | Plan de Corones, Alto Adige | Italy

Der Kronplatz ist ein 2275 Meter hoher Berg in Südtirol (Italien), am Rande der Dolomiten. Er gilt als Hausberg von Bruneck und wird ganzjährig genutzt. Im Winter ist der Kronplatz ein bekanntes Skigebiet und im Sommer wird er als Freizeitpark mit Wanderwegen, MTB Trails, Museen und einer Erlebniswelt für Kinder genutzt. Anläßlich der Jahrtausendwende wurde auf dem Gipfelplateau die Friedensglocke "Concordia 2000" aufgestellt. Der Klang der Glocke ertönt täglich um 12 Uhr. The Kronplatz (Plan de Corones) is a mountain of the Dolomites in South Tyrol, northern Italy, with a summit elevation of 2,275 metres (7,464 ft) above sea level. In the winter it is a ski resort and some of the lifts remain open in the summer for other activities such as walking, climbing and mountain biking. Located on the summit of the Plan de Corones is the “Concordia 2000” peace bell. The chimes of the bell can be heard every day at 12 o’clock. September 2022
