Pendeluhr Opus Perpetual, Opera Tischuhr, Armbanduhr Regulateur 1920 - Erwin Sattler auf MunichTime
The clock and watch exhibition MunichTime took place again this year (2018) in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof with many well-known manufacturers. I looked around at this fascinating exhibition on 10/27/2018. In this video I talked to Markus Glöggler, the production manager of the Erwin Sattler clock manufacturer, and let him explain three current models from the small series manufacturer from Gräfelfing near Munich to me. The first part of the video shows the "Opus Perpetual" wall pendulum clock, which will be produced over the next few years in a limited edition of a maximum of 60 pieces to mark the company's 60th anniversary this year. The 140 centimeter clock has a seconds pendulum and a perpetual calendar. In the second part of the video (starting at 7 minutes and 40 seconds) the new "Opera" table clock is explained to me, which thanks to its skeleton construction with glass housing allows fascinating insights. Finally, the last part of the video (from 11 minutes 33 seconds) deals with the anniversary wristwatch "Regulateur 1920". It contains an original Minerva pocket watch movement from 1920 and is produced in a limited edition of a maximum of 60 pieces. In addition, a pocket watch variant with this Minerva movement can also be seen in this video section, which, however, came onto the market before the company's 60th anniversary. The video consists of the following sections: 00:00 Welcome Markus Glöggler 00:23 Opus Perpetual - wall pendulum clock - limited 01:02 Second pendulum, length watch case 01:28 Skeleton construction 01:48 Perpetual Gregorian calendar for 200 years 02:30 Moon phase display with ball 03:02 Increased moon phase accuracy 03:29 Temperature compensation 03:57 Invar pendulum rod 04:17 Adjusting plate for fine weights 05:03 Accuracy Opus Perpetual 05:33 Air Pressure Compensation Opus Perpetual 06:03 Ball bearing, Graham escapement 06:32 Carbon inlaid case 06:54 Price, made by hand in Graefelfing 07:40 Opera - Skeleton table clock 08:08 Drive via steel cable, tension spring and snail 09:00 Opera table clock materials 09:20 Moon phase display and date display 09:50 Power reserve indicator 10:40 Opera is produced without limitation 11:04 Price of the table clock Opera 11:33 Regulateur 1920 - Anniversary wristwatch 11:56 Minerva pocket watch movement from 1920 12:25 Dial rotated 90 degrees 13:19 Strictly limited to 60 pieces 14:00 Price Regulateur 1920 by Erwin Sattler 14:20 Pocket watch variant - price 14:49 Farewell
