Seat Mii electric Škoda Citygo e iV & VW eUP HPC (CCS) Charging issues!

Attention: This is no advertisement for the VW Group, EnbW nor Ionity! This is the english version of the Seat Mii electric Škoda Citygo e iV & VW eUP HPC (CCS) Charging issues Video:    • Seat Mii electric, Škoda Citigo iV & VW eU...   Error description: All of the above mentioned vehicles which were produced since July / August 2020, are no longer able to charge plug & play on an HPC charger, which is used in Germany by EnBW Ionity, Telekom or among others. Vehicles that were produced before July / August 2020 can easily charged on all available HPC chargers. In order to be able to charge your vehicles on an HPC charger, there is the following error solution / workaround: Switch off the vehicle • Connect the CCS 2 charging into the charge port • Put the car key in the ignition lock and turn the key into position 1 • Leave the key in this position • Start the charging process using the charging card on the HPC charger. The charging process should start. You can now remove the key from the ignition lock and lock the vehicle. This does not abort the charging process. Explanation: VW is probably currently installing the wrong charging software / protocol on the VW triplets at the Bratislava plant.
