Paul (15) and I were on our own this time – on a road bike and gravel bike on an Alpine cross from Munich to Lake Garda. This isn't our first Alpine cross: I've crossed the Alps many times, even solo in a day, and Paul completed his first MTB Alpine cross at the age of 9: 👉 This time, it's a sporty affair – long distances, lots of elevation gain, father and son in a double act. Day 1 takes us from Munich to Sterzing: 177 km with over 2,000 meters of elevation gain.
