Use of a Scoop Stretcher
This video is part of a new series of basic clinical skills videos. It demonstrates how to use a scoop stretcher to extract a patient. This can be used for patient transfer or to extract a patient from a confined location where logrolling or straight lifting isn't possible. A scoop stretcher can be used to move a patient onto a spinal board or other stretcher type.
