Why Modern Superheroes Suck - They Don't Fight Crime

After talking about the ways Dispatch does superheroes right, many people disagreed with one of my points. Claiming for multiple reasons that superheroes shouldn't focus on their roots as crime fighters. Claiming that stories with Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, the Avengers and pretty much all superheroes from Marvel, DC, and beyond would be better off without fighting criminals. Whether through ignorance, misinterpretation, or sheer lunacy this seems to be a belief many fans of these comics and movies hold. So let's go through some of the major complaints and see why this opinion is just straight up wrong!   / _fantagonistic_
