Hi! I'm inviting you to a campsite straight from frosty Lapland, where winter lingers from November until late spring. After a long hike with a nearly 30-kilogram backpack, I reached an empty shelter with a central fire pit, where I spent the night in temperatures reaching -17°C. Instead of a traditional sleeping arrangement on the ground, I decided to sleep... on a table. It's a great way to block out the icy winds. I prepared fried reindeer for dinner, and I had to prepare a campfire that would last all night. My sleeping bag, rated for -10°C, was already at its limit, so a campfire was crucial for keeping me warm in case of an emergency. Did you enjoy it?
