E23.3 Four different Waterways in One Day

Part three of our journey from Naburn to Castleford. We had only planned to travel as far as Selby but we just kept going. 33 miles and just 7 locks in total. In this video we leave the bleak and polluted Bank Dole lock at the junction with the River Aire and the Aire & Calder Navigation and we travel through Knottingley on the cut, then its through Ferry Bridge and back down onto the river which involved getting George down a ladder. Back on the River for the final push to Castleford.
