Urban Legend or Serial Killer? The Disturbing Story of the Manchester Canal Pusher.

A disturbing statistic started to be talked about between the people of Manchester sometime during the 2010s. Frequently, reports were appearing in the press of bodies of, usually, young men being found in the canal network across the city. In a 10 year period, nearly 100 bodies had been found. Most of these were easy cases for the police to solve, including suicides and accidents, but 28 of them were left unanswered and unresolved. and for the families, they were unable to get answers and closure on the loss of their loved ones. At the same time, due to the increasing number, fear seemed to grip the city, and people started to ask questions. Was a serial killer at work in the city? A 'pusher' who would find unsuspecting victims in the darkness and send them to an icy watery fate? The story spread, and soon, the talk created a modern-day urban legend, with many today still suggesting 'The Manchester Pusher' is still at large, In this video I join the canal near Canal Street in Manchester and look at some of the final moments of the victims.
