At the Babusha Forest Farm, Guo Wangang and Shi Yinshan are dedicated to combating desertification and planting trees in the desert. On the banks of the Yellow River, Zhang Debao and his apprentice Zhang Yongsheng are safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage of sheepskin rafts. At the Xiaohuangwan Ferry, Li Qian has been stationed on the riverbank for many years, protecting the villagers' crossing route. Decades of dedicated cultivation of this land embody the most moving spirit of Gansu.
