Henry Rafael argued that Keiko Fujimori's performance is due to a campaign strategy focused on grassroots organizing, especially in regions where she has historically had low levels of support. He explained that the Fuerza Popular candidate managed to increase her voter support in key departments such as Arequipa, Cusco, and Loreto in recent weeks. In a conversation with Carla Muschi, the expert noted that recovering between five and seven percentage points in these regions reflects a more effective campaign compared to that of her opponent, Roberto Sánchez. In his opinion, this growth allowed Fujimori to enter election day in a more competitive position and to contest the presidency vote by vote. KEIKO WITH THE LEAD For his part, José Manuel Saavedra indicated that the exit poll results reflect a virtual tie due to the minimal difference between the two candidates. However, he noted that recent polls already showed a trend favoring Fujimori. According to Datum's exit poll, the candidate obtained 50.53% compared to 49.47% for Roberto Sánchez.
