Sheree Brown speaks with The BTM CLUB

Sheree Brown  is an Emmy-nominated producer, ASCAP award-winning songwriter, and soul artist known for her uplifting music and collaborations with R&B legends. Born on 25 December 1955 in Los Angeles, she rose to prominence in the early 1980s with a sound that blends soul, jazz, R&B, and gospel.  Musical Career & Highlights • Signature Hits: She is best remembered for her 1981 single "It’s A Pleasure", a staple of the UK soul scene. Other notable tracks include "Got To Get Away" and "Happiness Flows". • Songwriting Credits: A prolific writer, she co-wrote Patrice Rushen’s classics "Haven’t You Heard" and "Settle For My Love." Her work has been sampled by major artists, including Kirk Franklin ("Looking for You") and Zhane ("Groove Thang"). • Recent Projects: She recently completed her "Messages" trilogy, a project merging music and literature. The final installment, Messages From The Soul...
