Sissy Squat For Bigger Quads
Tune in for a sissy squat leg workout in the latest installment at ExerciseLab. The premise of this video is simple: one move, better quads. While this is a specialty device not everyone will have access to, it is a great and somewhat unique way to emphasize the quadricep muscles for those looking to increase development in those muscles. A few rounds of on this machine/device could be a great way to warm up, pre-exhaust, or polish off a leg workout as a 'burnout.' Here I also demonstrate how to increase the difficulty/tension without adding weight and extra stress on the knee ligaments by using a band. Lastly, at the end of the video I show an old school quad exercise utilizing only body weight for those who don't have access to a sissy squat machine. So many variations, so little time.
