Below 4th Avenue, the NYC MTA R line runs underneath servicing passengers to local stops along the avenue until 95th St. It also features the overhead 9th Street station for the F and G Trains. The NYPD 72nd Precinct house that provides service for the area is located on this stretch of road. Towards the end of the walk, we pass the 4th Avenue gate entrance to Greenwood Cemetery.
