Once apples are soft mash with a potato masher "or put in a blender for a quicker easier option." Once mashed or blended add everything back to crockpot for 30 minutes. Squeeze out as much juice as possible. Strain everything separating mashed apples from the juice. Wipe out crockpot and pour juice back in "straining a second time."
