#58 - It is exactly 4 years since we moved into our workshop and began the restoration on our classic 1975 Bedford truck, with the intention of eventually converting it into a house on wheels, so yes, we’ve been at this a long time. But this week we are finally starting up the 50 year old petrol Bedford Engine. We bought the truck on eBay at the end of 2020 and had it delivered by an even bigger truck to a huge, old barn-on-a-farm we are renting to use as our workshop whilst we undertake this challenge. Well, several YEARS and a few set backs later, we’re currently in the process of ‘lovingly’ restoring the base vehicle, taking the whole thing apart, piece by rusty piece, so we can make it all new and shiny again, before we embark on the even bigger task of building a home on its back out of nothing more than grit, imagination, sweat, tears and possibly a bit of magic and wishful thinking!
