If you're looking for inspiration for a summer cycling trip that will culminate in an extended weekend, a budget, and unforgettable memories, you've come to the right place. In this episode, I'll discuss cycling route suggestions in southeastern Poland, particularly in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and the surrounding area. I'll present one-day, weekend, and slightly longer routes. Most of the suggestions fit into the summer rail network, allowing you to organize a multi-day trip without worrying about transportation. I chose Rzeszów as my base. I'll tell you about what awaits you on the road, the forests, waterfalls, and rivers, the historical relics left by the people who once inhabited this area, atmospheric camping spots, and where you can forget about the passing of time with a stop at a village shop. This guide is based on my own experiences and has been expanded with a few improvements. I completed most of the routes alone or with a group of friends, often spending the entire day cycling, and other times relaxing carefree by the campfire and the river at the campsite. Anyone who has ever tried venturing into remote rural areas off the main thoroughfares or set foot behind a village shop knows all too well how many adventures, surprising twists, and joys of travel can be found there, and southeastern Poland is the perfect place for it.
