For this project the spectrum was reshaped following the Harmonic Balancing principle increasing clarity, depth and power. Multiple passes were performed to fine tune and reduce specific audio distresses. Spectrum analyzer plots of the original waveforms and then the Harmonic Balanced waveforms are included. For one the harsh brittle sound of the raw recording has been minimized with this procedure. Another improvement is Roger's bass guitar sounds like one now. A secondary issue was that this recording was plagued by a multitude of ticks, pops, scrapes, clunks and whispering. These distracting noises were removed and the loudest claps were reduced at the same time. All done as spot repairs so some of those pesky little noises may remain. You will probably never even notice them. The results are a more pleasant listening experience with a fuller cleaner sound (IMHO). Speed and pitch verification by Professor Goody. Thanks to the pervessor for all he does to improve our recordings. Thanks should also go to Jerry (R.I.P.) and Rob who recorded and shared this tape with everyone. And to Pink Floyd for blowing our minds back then. Hope my project is considered worthy of this fantastic recording and increases your listening experience. Some folks don't go for these reworked versions so be aware that the source for this project is available here also.
