Pocket Knife Army - Wrapped Around Your Finger (The Police Cover) (Monthly Release Challenge #23)

⚡We’ve done something we’ve never done before!⚡ It’s the end of another year, and also the end of an incredible journey called ‘Monthly Release Challenge’. Even in these difficult times we kept on challenging ourselves within the limits of the pandemic. This month we’ve decided to do a live version of a song by The Police; Wrapped Around Your Finger (thanks Maarten Verduijn for challenging us to do an 80’s cover :-)). In all those years we’ve never recorded a song by an other artist before, but this time it felt right to do so, because we think a lot more people should hear this song (why is this song not in the Top 2000?!). The past year has been alternating between really great and very difficult. Not being able to tour feels as if someone has ripped out your lungs and then asks you to take a deep breath. Luckily a great new project crossed our path - we’re building a new studio and on top of that we’re building four extra music studios for some of our dear colleagues. This is an insane project🤯 which will eventually take up more than 8 months of our time, but it will definitely be worth it! The pandemic has also shown us what’s really important in life like friends, family, solidarity and listening to one another. That’s why we are so grateful for all the wonderful people in our lives. We couldn’t be happier! Thanks 2020 for teaching us how to be flexible and to be even more creative than before. We couldn’t film a live session in September due to Covid restrictions, so we will do a final video in January, filmed of course by the third member of our Monthly Release Challenge team; the amazing @Jesse Immanuel Bom! That will be the end of our 2-year journey of releasing a new song every month. Thanks everyone for supporting us, we love you, take care of yourself and each other! Happy 2021!
