Day 3 of my Pokémon Platinum Randomizer Hardcore Nuzlocke in Pokémon Platinum, and today we're making our push toward the fourth Gym. The challenge is becoming more intense with every badge we earn. As our opponents grow stronger, so does the risk of losing valuable team members. With randomized encounters, Trainers, and items, there's no way to predict what challenge is waiting around the next corner. Every battle has the potential to change the entire run. Randomizer Features All wild Pokémon encounters are randomized. Every Trainer's Pokémon is randomized. Every item found throughout the game is randomized. Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules If a Pokémon faints, it is permanently dead and must be released. Only the first Pokémon encountered in each new area may be caught. Duplicate Clause is active. No items may be used during battle. Pokémon cannot exceed the next Gym Leader's highest-level Pokémon. Every Pokémon must be nicknamed. Today's Goal Continue building the team Push toward the fourth Gym Survive increasingly difficult randomized battles Find valuable randomized items Keep the team alive The deeper we get into this challenge, the more every decision matters.
