It sells an enemy. And there are people profiting from your hatred. In this video, I show how a concrete case, of a businessman from Goiás who owns a meatpacking plant and sells picanha steak stamped with Bolsonaro's face, reveals a much larger mechanism. The same man who puts up a sign saying "PT supporters are not welcome here" on his restaurant door is accused of defaulting on payments and threatening a trans woman after a sexual encounter. This isn't a personality contradiction. It's the same gesture of deciding who's on the inside and who's on the outside, repeated in two different spaces. From this case, I reconstruct the complete mechanism, drawing on Umberto Eco, René Girard, and Theodor Adorno: how the far right constructs an enemy, blames this enemy for the real problems in people's lives, and demands payment for it. Then I show the historical root in Brazil, the National Security Doctrine and the decree-law that officially created the category of "internal enemy" during the dictatorship, and compare it to what Rubio and the Trump administration are doing now, summoning Brazil to a meeting on "terrorist far-left" on the eve of the convention launching Flávio Bolsonaro's candidacy. And I show who really profits from this: the algorithm that rewards anger five times more than likes, the arms industry that financed the pro-gun lobby, and the neo-Pentecostal evangelical business. Three economic engines that don't compete with each other because everyone thrives better with the enemy circulating than with the problem solved. It ends with the case of the film Dark Horse Azarão, the R$ 134 million financing negotiated directly with the owner of Banco Master, who was arrested for billion-dollar fraud.
