Crno Jezero | Žabljak | Durmitor - najbardziej znane jezioro Czarnogóry

Crno Jezero (Black Lake) is less than 3 km from the centre of Žabljak, the most popular mountain resort in Montenegro. Situated at an altitude of 1,416 m above sea level, it is a popular destination for walks: it is easy to get there, and from the shore there are excellent views of the Durmitor Mountains, especially the towering peak of Međed. It is actually two lakes: Veliko jezero and Malo jezero, connected by a canal that dries up in the summer. Both lakes can be bypassed thanks to a trail running along the shore. Many trails leading to the higher reaches of Durmitor also start from here.
