In this video I review the YuXiang F119S MD500 scale RC helicopter, a 1/16 scale GPS helicopter with optical flow positioning, lidar altitude hold, auto takeoff and landing, return to home, circle and figure-8 flight modes, and manual flight capability. I unbox the helicopter, show what comes in the package, go through the radio and manual, explain gyro and compass calibration, and then test the MD500 in real outdoor wind conditions. This RC scale helicopter is one of the best looking MD500 models I’ve seen in this size. The cockpit detail, opening doors, five blade rotor head, lighting, and overall scale appearance are very impressive.
