An Indonesian scientist working in the UK is reviving pride in Sundanese civilization through the ambitious project "Encyclopedia Ki Sunda." In his speech, Bagus Mulyadi explained that the three-volume project, compiled in collaboration with dozens of scientists from the UK, Australia, Indonesia, and the Sundanese region, aims to introduce Sundanese perspectives to the international community. He emphasized that Sunda is not merely a historical or cultural record, but also possesses a rich heritage of science, law, mathematics, urban planning, botany, and environmental philosophy that has existed for hundreds of years. Mulyadi also touched on how the international academic world has studied the natural riches of the Indonesian archipelago but has not yet explored the original theories and ideas of the archipelago itself. According to him, Encyclopedia Ki Sunda will be the first step in restoring the dignity of Sundanese culture and introducing the thoughts of the Indonesian ancestors to the world stage.
