From the Mountains

While Nancy goes hiking after work, she discovers something unusual, something that was apparently trying to lead her somewhere. But what is it? Hey, who wants to see something that was meant for Halloween, but never finished on time? So yeah, for Halloween last year, one of the stories I wanted to adapt was this one, as it did give me Horror on the Rails vibes for some reason with how it was written. Not only that, but after seeing a neat edit on Twitter by Narrow Gauge engine from the story inspired me some more. For my take on this adaptation, I wanted to leave it up to the audience on who the engine that Nancy spoke to was, Smudger or Stanley. As for the rescuers, you can decide who they were.
