Informe de la DGAC revela fallas en aeropuertos estratégicos: Santiago, Arica y Punta Arenas
A confidential report from the Directorate General of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC) consolidated the ongoing observations identified during 2025 inspections of the national airport network. The document identifies runway deterioration, excess rubber, cracks, obstacles, malfunctioning lights, and problems with visual aids, even at terminals considered strategic for the country's connectivity, sovereignty, and Antarctic projection. When contacted by Radio Bío Bío, the DGAC confirmed that these are ongoing inspections and that the observations are forwarded to the Ministry of Public Works for the corresponding maintenance.
