Amtrak's Wolverine - Detroit to Chicago in Venture Business Class

*Ha! 18:23 the title should read Michigan City, IN - a former Wolverine stop. Those responsible for proofreading titles have been sacked. After a day in Detroit I'm headed back to St. Paul via Chicago on Amtrak's train 351, the Wolverine for my first leg of this travel day. The train's consist is all Siemens Venture equipment, including the new Cafe-Coach car & the business class car which I'm aboard. I had intended to do a quick transfer to train 1333, the Borealis to St. Paul, but had to be rebooked onto train 27 the Empire Builder due to the ticketing program realizing its mistake. Had I not requested this upgrade I might not have got to experience the underwhelming place that is the first car aboard the train. But don't take my word, see it for yourself as we cross Michigan, the last state I had never visited in the midwest prior to this trip.
