There is no such thing as a car programming course, and the only thing in cars that is related to programming and actually requires a course is something like Automotive Embedded Systems and AUTOSAR Architecture. However, any of the #courses_business people offer a course whose content teaches you how to install new software for the control unit or set up an immo off, clear carsh, or EGR off using programmers like Ktag or Kess, Minipro, or any other similar type of programmer is called #fraud, #stupidity, and #exploitation of people's ignorance of basic electronics to extract considerable sums of money from them. Let me explain everything to you in #one_post. I'll cover everything about programming, whether it's programmers, software, or programming methods. #First_Programmers There are three types of programmers: 1) Tweak Programmers These rely on the official protocol, which is: SAE J2534 PassThru Protocol for ECU Reprogramming These operate directly on the OBD port. However, devices that support this protocol are expensive, and you must purchase the software provided by the car manufacturer. Therefore, no one uses these devices except official dealerships. 2) Boot Mode Programmers These are programmers that enter the MCU's Boot Mode to communicate, read, and rewrite memories. EEPROM & Flash Memory, such as Ktag, Kess, Piasini, FGtech, etc. Of course, the most common are Ktag and Kess, which are essentially the same company. 3) Memory Programmers The difference between them and Boot Mode Programmers is that you must remove the memory from the control unit and insert it directly into the programmer, such as Minipro, Xprog, CG prog, CarProg. #Second_Programming_Method All you need is a programmer that supports your control unit and the software that will perform the task, whether it's immo off, clear carsh, or EGR off. All you do is take a copy of the software you have on the memory and save it on your device. Then, you enter it into the program that will perform the task you want, and it will display the modified file. You place this file on the control unit's memory using the programmer, and that's it. So, the task is complete. #Thirdly_Used_Programs and #Types_of_Programming The programs I'm going to mention aren't all there are, but they are the most popular. If you know of other programs, you can write them in a comment. ◽To Download #New_Software for the Control Unit You don't need any programs; you just need the original software for the control unit. You can either buy it (there are many websites for this), or extract it from another control unit for the same model and install it on your control unit using a programmer. That's it. ◽To Activate #IMMO_Off for the Control Unit This cancels the immobilizer protection, which is the key code. When you want to change the control unit, you want an unprotected control unit. This is what they call open source. The most popular programs in this story are: IMMO Universal Decoding 3.2, IMMO 3, and IMMO Killer 1.10. There are also special programs. With specific brands (but I haven't tried them), such as Opel Pin Repair PSA ECU PIN Renault PIN-Code On Key Number Toyota 4 DKeyTool 1.2 VAG EDC16 IMMO Bypass and others. If your control unit isn't supported by these programmers or programs (which is rare), you'll have to buy something called an Immo Off Emulator and program it as a key for it and solder it to the board (you can search for it to learn more). ◽To cancel EGR, DPF, AdBlue, cancel Vmax speed limit, or prevent a DTC Off from appearing again. The most popular new programs that include all of these are Davinci EcuSafe Winol (but this one requires training because it's a bit more advanced and has higher capabilities). ◽To do #Clear_Crash or #Reset_Airbag So if the car is in an accident, the airbag light will remain lit until you clear the accident from the Airbag control. So you put the programmer on the Airbag control, not the engine control. The most popular programs for something like this are: Nyo 4 CG prog programming program CarProg programming program There are other programs, but these are the ones I've used.
